Whole grain pita bread 🍽️
(simplest recipe)
200 ml. water
2 tbsp olive oil
200…300 wholemeal (whole-wheat) flour
Mix olive oil and water, gradually add flour until the consistency is almost sticky.
I divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll each piece into a thin layer.
Fry in a very hot non-stick pan, without oil, until golden.
Important: if the pan is not very hot and the dough is very thin, pita bread will become very dry.
