The homepage features a recent post grid that you can use if you have seven or more published posts with featured images selected.  We’ve also built in some other widget areas to showcase more of your content (Home Top; Home Left, Center, and Right; and Home Bottom).  The following two options are the homepage with the recent posts grid and content in the Home Left, Center, and Right widgets:
